Legal Secretary

  • Assist with initial drafts and revisions to legal documents, specifically including real estate documents, loans, acquisitions and transactions
  • Utilize document management system
  • Assist with word processing, clerical tasks, answering phones, scanning and other administrative assignments
  • Monitor emails and respond accordingly
  • Electronic and hard copy filing of emails and legal documents
  • Assist Department Manager with tracking and vouchering Department legal expenses
  • Prepare and submit expense reports
  • Prioritize tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Conduct all business in a professional and confidential manner


Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years legal experience with comprehensive knowledge of real estate, transactions and loans
  • Knowledge of document management system
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, Google Sheets and Google Docs
  • Minimum typing speed of 80+ wpm
  • High School Diploma required; 2-year degree preferred
  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Work with and meet established deadlines
