Supervise and provide work direction for hourly bargaining employees.
Assign manpower and equipment as necessary to repair and upgrade equipment.
Participate and implement the safety program’s goals to ensure a safe work environment by conducting safety contacts, observations, meetings and audits.
Assign manpower and equipment as necessary to repair and upgrade equipment via department resources.
Identify basic problem(s), gather the appropriate information, and analyze in an effective manner.
Make decisions with a clear business focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
Respond to off-hour and weekend shifts as needed to support plant outages and unplanned events.
Monitors tool and part inventories and the condition and maintenance of shops and ensures adequate working conditions.
Examines objects, systems, or facilities, and analyzes information to determine needed installations, services, or repairs

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering is preferred. 5 years’ experience as a Manager in a manufacturing environment, and experience in the field or in a related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous experience with Robotics’, PLC’s, Process Improvements, Preventive Maintenance, Maintenance General, and Safety compliance required
of experience supervising maintenance employees in a heavy manufacturing environment is required.
Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems required.
Must possess solid analytical skills with the ability to trouble shoot and solve problems.
Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
Computer skills including Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
Ability to operate a forklift.
Must be flexible in working, including some Saturdays; and other duties as assigned
