Marketing Coordinator
Overland Park, Kansas



We need a dynamic, talented and marketing-savvy coordinator to support our business development team.  This position is a busy position, filled with a variety of projects.  

•Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator
•Experience with social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat
•Experience with social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, LinkedIn, etc
•Must have good communication skills and work well in a team setting or independently
•Ability to work well under deadlines and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently with a strong attention to detail
•Must be self-motivated, passionate, inventive, and energetic
•Must be organized, independent and be able to multitask
•Oversee the creation of social content calendars on a weekly and monthly basis
•Monitor analytics to identify viable ideas and areas to optimize social media
•Provide support to the marketing team at events including social media coverage
•Provide customer service support through social media
•Research new digital trends for implementation
•Assist in keeping up-to-date digital influencer and media lists
•Pre and post event evaluations 
•Distribute marketing collateral and help promote events, as needed 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience for an agency or corporate marketing department
  • Bachelor’s degree required in related field or equivalent experience
  • Manage multiple projects at one time; able to “own” projects from start to finish
  • Develop project timelines and work at a pace to complete projects per those timelines
  • Oversee logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors and ordering marketing collateral for conferences
  • Communicate clearly and concisely with in email, phone and in-person with internal and external vendors
  • Design and create marketing collateral
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Self-starter and solution finder with solid problem-solving and time management skills
  • Knowledge of WordPress CMS, Canva, Mailchimp or equivalents
  • Social media marketing and blogging experience
  • Provide creative input for content to help build our brand
  • Assist with proposal development for clients
First interviews will be via phone for half an hour
Second interview in-person
