DESCRIPTION:
Purchasing Manager
Work for an outstanding company that offers both stability and great culture.
Utilize your leadership skills in managing Purchasing Agents.
Work with multiple warehouses and 1000's of SKU's.
Maintain current customer and vendor relationships.
Utilize materials management best practices to ensure stocking levels, follow up to internal customer requests with a sense of urgency.
Control the number of inventory turns and 120 day inventory to meet budget guidelines. Maintain preferred vendor emphasis.
Maintain leadership, training and development of purchasing department efforts, including the management of purchasing agents. Negotiate vendor pricing/terms/promotions-programs.
Communicate and coordinate with internal staff (Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse, Accounting) to maximize customer satisfaction.
