DESCRIPTION:
Construction Superintendent
Requirement
Our client requires:
5 years or more of construction project supervision required
Experience in either Carpentry, Out of ground, multi family or hotel/Big Box/Tenant Improvement
This is a local job with minimal travel
Microsoft Office and computer literate
Job Duties:
Drawing analysis
OSHA compliance
Review of project specifications
Provide oversight of all contractors and subcontractors
Participate in all inspections and report on them to ensure contract requirements
Participate in weekly/monthly construction meetings
Serve as primary customer contact
Identify possible problems and suggest solutions
Materials and analysis
Submittal reviews
Verify work compliance
Schedule and coordinate multiple subcontractors
Prepare weekly/monthly job site report
Able to address performance issues in a fair and effective manner
Review subcontractor work to ensure quality of workmanship
Assure that all project deadlines are met – or if not, reporting delays to John
Strong ability to multi-task and keep fast pace – while at the same time, attending carefully to important details
Ability to take immediate and sustained action to ensure that all parts are available where needed. If parts or equipment is not available, do what is needed to get them.
