Advertising Coordinator

SUMMARY:

The Advertising Coordinator (AC) will review the submission of marketing collateral from our clients for compliance with internal policy and regulatory standards.  The AC will be the acting liaison between the Client,  Program Directors, and Compliance Department in order to secure overall approval for marketing collateral.    Our clients include marketing agencies, Third Party Administrators (TPAs) and Managing General Agents (MGAs). Responsibility also includes providing input and direction to cross functional internal teams representing Account Management, Underwriting, Product Control, Compliance, and Legal.

RESPONSILBILITIES:

  • Interprets policies and regulations governing the language that can be used in marketing the company’s products and ensures the creation of compliant literature.
  • Reviews and edits publications for submission to Legal/Compliance for final approval and disseminates results to Clients.
  • Educates Clients and Marketing team members on relevant policies and regulations.
  • Develops and maintains historical log of all approved marketing collateral.
  • Has ability to coordinate and manage numerous projects with clients and among multiple internal departments 
  • Proficient in project management; ownership of tasks with ability to drive advertising approval to completion in an efficient and effective manner.

  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and listening) Detail oriented, demonstrate leadership capabilities
  • Positive attitude with ability to build collaborative relationships both internally and externally
  • Excellent computer skills, including Adobe, Adobe Design Suite, Word, SharePoint, and other Microsoft programs  
  • Analytical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Creative, inventive, and highly organized
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communication, Journalism, English, or related field
