Our client, a respected boutique law firm, has retained us in the search for an experienced Estate Planning Attorney to join their growing practice. About the Role
The Estate Planning Attorney will work directly with clients to design and implement thoughtful, customized estate plans. You’ll draft a variety of legal documents, provide trusted guidance on trust and estate administration, and advise on related areas such as asset protection and tax planning. This role offers exposure to sophisticated matters and the chance to make a lasting impact by helping clients protect what matters most.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and review estate planning documents, such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
- Consult with and advise clients on estate planning strategies, including asset protection, charitable giving, entity formation, and tax considerations, based on their situation and goals.
- Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and financial professionals on complex matters.
- Guide clients through trust and estate administration, probate, and related proceedings.
- Stay informed on developments in estate and tax law to ensure the highest quality counsel.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in estate planning or closely related areas.
- Strong knowledge of estate planning principles.
- Excellent drafting, research, and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate complex legal concepts in a clear, client-friendly manner.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership required.
