Lost Time Claims Adjuster
Work for a well established company that is looking to hire a Lost Time Claims Adjuster.
RESPONSILBILITIES:
- Manage full caseload of approximately 110 files
- Responsible for initial investigation, direction of medical care, handling of subrogation matters, negotiations and point person for claimant, policyholder, medical staff, nurse case manager and legal representative
- Responsible for bring file to settlement resolution within settlement authority
- Handle designated policyholder accounts
- Handle claims within all operating jurisdictions
- Create connections with injured workers and policyholders regarding claim activity
- Handle lost time, permanency and permanent total disability claims
- Keep file notes and tasks up to date as well as claim status reports
