DESCRIPTION:
Director of HR
XXXX  is seeking a Director – HR Business Partner North America. The role will support the Corporate functions throughout the North America region. This role performs a specialized type of HR work focused on HR consulting to the business including: HR consulting and coaching, Enabling business change, & HR program advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that directly support goals and growth initiatives.
  • Guides and manages the overall provision of the Human Resource Business Partners services, policies and programs in the USA.
  • Formulates and recommends Human Resources policies and partners with management to communicate policies, procedures, programs and laws
  • Ensure a productive, respectful work environment that encourages positive, effective working relationships and open communications
  • Develops and monitors an annual budget that includes Human Resources services
Leadership Coaching:
  • Provide coaching and development to senior management on leadership practices, employee engagement, and performance management.
Performance Management:
  • Oversee the performance management process, which includes succession planning, goals, performance development plans (PDPs), performance improvement plans (PIPs) and employee development programs
  • Coach, manage, and motivate the leadership staff to encourage development, support team building, and ensure a culture of excellence and accountability
  • Organize annual succession planning and tools, to map employees for development and growth
Organizational Design:
  • Participate in organizational restructuring initiatives, including workforce planning and job redesign
  • Supports organizational planning that evaluates company structure, job design, and personnel forecasting throughout the company. Evaluates plans and changes to plan. Make recommendations to executive management.
  • Consults with the executive leadership team to develop and role model the culture of the company in their teams
  • Develop a suggested training platform for employee development and training, and work with outside vendors to develop curriculum
Employee Engagement:
  • Manages employee engagement activities that address issues such as key employee retention and change management.
  • Drives employee engagement through annual surveys, feedback; as well as developing employee engagement activities
Data Analysis:
  • Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and inform decision-making, measuring the impact of HR initiatives
  • Establish departmental measures that support the accomplishment of the company's strategic goals
  • Develop and administer programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company
  • Prepares periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested, to track strategic goal accomplishment.
Global Mobility:
  • Oversees outside contractors to support global mobility programs, including expatriate assignments, relocations, and immigration support.
  • Ensure compliance with international labor laws, tax regulations, and visa requirements.
  • Partner with finance, legal, and external vendors to provide seamless mobility solutions.
  • Support international employees through relocation assistance, cultural adaptation programs, and policy development
Payroll Management:
  • Oversee a dedicated person responsible for payroll operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across domestic and international locations.
  • Guide and assist in implementing best practices and HRIS solutions to optimize payroll administration.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payment of wages to employees, compliance with payroll laws and regulations, and maintenance of payroll records.
  • Ensure payroll tax filings and reporting requirements are met.

Required Skills And Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or related field. Extensive experience in Human Resources with a deep understanding of employment laws and best practices . Extensive experience dealing with multi country in a global organization. Must have US work authorization.
