DESCRIPTION:
Our client, a well-established company in the Kansas City area, has engaged us in their search for an experienced Explosion Protection Test Engineer. This individuals’ primary responsibility is to conduct large-scale and laboratory scale testing and validation of new Industrial Protection concepts, products, processes and applications utilizing sound experimental design and engineering principles to ensure goal and objectives
Other responsibilities would include:
- Conduct full-scale explosion research, including explosion phenomena investigations.
- Act as official laboratory representative for all Explosion Protection Technology activities
- Provide comprehensive analysis and documentation of new Explosion Protection concepts, products, processes, and application
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Engineering discipline
2+ years of engineering experience in a testing experience
Excellent attitude and leadership skills
Comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles, concepts, practices and theories
AutoCAD, strong fluid dynamics comprehension, and Microsoft Excel
Due to government contracts this individual must be a U.S. Citizen and be capable of passing an ATF background check
