Our client seeks a Field Supervisor who will play a critical role in the success of their commercial division. This supervisor will be managing a team of 10-15 crews.
Responsibilities will include regularly checking, monitoring, and providing needed management support in troubleshooting and ensuring that the commercial customers are satisfied, and that the job is running on time, the materials needed are available, and that all safety precautions are being taken. The project timeline is also monitored, getting additional help or resources, as needed, to ensure the job is done on time, on budget, and the quality of the work remains at a high standard.
The Field Supervisor will also maintain schedules and is responsible for adequate coverage, as needed, with the changing needs of the job, the customer, and the other crew members.
The primary responsibilities include:
Daily interaction with customers and crew
Checking on jobs for quality control
Creating a game plan and monitoring progress on all jobs
Enabling the crews to have adequate materials, tools, and resources
Ensuring that the customer quality standards are being met
Excellent communication skills with the crews, the customer, and management at all times. Being bilingual is important to provide good communication
Reporting and meeting with all parties for scheduled and “as needed” meetings
The Field Supervisor Ensures that all paperwork and documentation is complete and fully updated
Some evening and weekend work will be required.
At least 2 years of supervisory experience with construction, painting, remodeling, cleaning, landscaping or other crews
Bilingual in English and Spanish is essential
Valid driver’s license
Comfortable with technology
Customer service motivated
