Our client, a high-profile Omaha-based organization, has retained us in their search for a business-minded Head of Legal to join their dynamic leadership team.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of Legal will collaborate with other leaders, the Board, and other stakeholders to ensure legal integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational effectiveness.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing advice and counsel to senior leadership on a diverse range of legal, regulatory, administrative matters.
- Leading the review, negotiation and management of a wide range of complex contracts, agreements, partnerships, and business transactions
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to address risks and proactively ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Managing relationships with external law firms
- Actively engaging with the C-Suite and other stakeholders to support business operations and ensure alignment of legal, administrative, and operational priorities

Targeting well-credentialed candidates with 10-15+ years hands-on experience handling sophisticated business transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, real estate/leases, commercial contracting, corporate governance, and other related matters. A collaborative, relationship-oriented approach is essential. JD and bar admission required. EOE
