DESCRIPTION:
Spencer Reed Group is currently working with a Joint Commission-accredited 321-bed acute care facility who is in in need of an Infection Control Manager. This is a Direct Hire, Full-time position from day one! Spencer Reed is strictly doing the pre-screening for our client.
Experience:
At least one year of recent hospital Infection Control experience required.
2-3 years clinical experience in a hospital setting or disease surveillance experience in a public health setting.
Knowledge and experience in patient care practices, microbiology, asepsis, disinfection/sterilization, adult education, infectious diseases, communication, program administration, and epidemiology.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is one who has demonstrated a stable work history and progressive health care experience.
A BSN or BS in the health care field
Certification in Infection Control (CIC), HOWEVER, if you do not have this, it MUST be obtained within 2 years of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidate does not need to be an RN but that is preferred.

Salary is based on years of experience and starts at $ 85,000 and goes into the six figure range for a highly qualified candidate.
