Plaza law firm is seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal with emphasis in workers’ compensation, civil litigation and/or insurance defense,
RESPONSILBILITIES:
- Take charge of the overall procession of all workers’ compensation cases and other litigation matters as assigned, ensuring that all elements of each case are being collected, maintained, and organized
- Request, compile, prepare, organize, and analyze documents, records and/or exhibits as needed for workers’ compensation matters, depositions, trial proceedings, settlement, and other litigious matters
- Request and analyze medical records; prepare chronologies and summaries
- Perform various paralegal tasks in connection with civil lawsuits, personal injury or commercial litigation as assigned
- Manage, update, and maintain practice management system to include the coordination and monitoring of all case timelines, ensuring that all deadlines are timely met
SKILLS:
- 5+ Years of Work Comp experience
- Must have strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage a high volume of cases from start to finish.
- Technical skills
- Able to meet deadlines
