Sales Executive – Position Requirement
Position Title: Sales Executive – IT Consulting Services
Department: Business Development
Reports To: CEO
Location: Overland Park, KS (On-site preferred)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to lead the growth of our IT consulting and managed services business. This role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and closing deals for services such as Microsoft 365, Azure, AI & Automation, Custom Software Development, and LegalTech solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B technology sales, with a deep understanding of consultative selling and solution-based approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across law firms, financial services, healthcare, and professional services sectors.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
Understand client needs and present solutions that align with their business objectives.
Collaborate with technical consultants and pre-sales engineers to develop tailored proposals.
Lead the preparation of RFP responses, proposals, and contracts.
Track all sales activities and pipeline in CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Attend networking events, industry conferences, and client meetings.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field.
2+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in IT consulting or managed services.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong understanding of Microsoft technology stack (M365, Azure), cloud services, and custom software projects.
Consultative selling experience with C-level stakeholders.
Preferred:
Experience in legal, finance, or healthcare technology domains.
Familiarity with AI/automation trends and use cases in professional services.
Prior experience selling Managed IT Services or SaaS-based solutions.
Compensation Structure:
Base Salary: $60,000 – $100,000 (based on experience)
Commission: 10%–15% of Gross Profit on closed deals
Bonuses: Performance-based quarterly incentives
