POSITION SUMMARY

Home Credit US is a fast growing consumer finance company headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas.  Formed in 2014, Home Credit - US is the result of an innovative partnership between Home Credit International, one of the world’s largest consumer finance companies, and Sprint, one of the largest mobile carriers. The Sales Training Manager position reports to the Head of Sales and will be responsible for planning, developing, delivering, and measuring sales training programs.  In this role, the incumbent will help drive revenue and profitability via creative and effective sales training programs, including product training, sales talk tracks, and developing tools to reinforce product marketing and sales strategies.  In addition, this position will collaborate with Sprint University and Sprint Multi-Channel Operations teams on training content creation.

The successful candidate will possess strong communications, influencing, group and individual development, technical skills, facilitation, assessment, coaching, and relationship building capabilities.  The ability to work effectively with all levels of employees across all business units will allow this individual to be most effective. This individual will need to be nimble within an environment of continuous demands and shifting priorities.  Prior experience developing sales training programs in a retail start-up environment is desirable.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders in the creation of product, market, compliance, and selling skills training programs that contributes toward improving revenue and profitability
  • Ability to collaborate in the design, development, and implementation of training programs
  • Create and implement measurement systems and assessments and redirect sales training programs accordingly at the individual and group level
  • Perform individual assessments and provide coaching to help improve understanding and overall performance
  • Develop new and innovative training tools to improve sales performance
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in Home Credit products, business practices, and Sprint sales systems
  • Develop and share sales training best practices within Home Credit and Sprint
  • Be flexible and work in both a team environment and independently to meet deadlines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a similar concentration
  • Minimum of five (5) years of working experience, preferably in the financial or wireless industry, in sales training or closely related area
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, influencing, and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of project management requirements and ability to create and execute project plans according to Sprint/Home Credit expectations
  • Proven ability to build consensus and operate in a team, matrixed environment
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Suite, especially Power Point, Word and Excel
  • Ability to work cross-functionally among numerous stakeholders
