Senior Staff Accountant:
Looking for a talented senior level staff accountant who is wanting to work with a long time, innovative and growing Kansas City based company. Excellent benefits and competitive salary. Wanting someone who can work collaboratively with a great group of professionals! 

Position Summary:
Accurately maintain general ledger, review and post payable, receivable and cash application batches.  Complete general ledger reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and study reconciliations.  Daily use of Excel skills mandatory. Inventory control when needed. Reporting to the Controller. Serve as a backup to accounts receivable, accounts payable, study budgeting, volunteer payments, payroll and human resources as needed.

• Full cycle general ledger
• Manufacturing experience
• Financial statement preparation and review
• Able to work in a fast -paced environment
• Preparing and posting journal entries
• Inventory control experience
• Budgeting/forecasting
• Accounts receivable backup
• Experience with software conversions
• Accounts payable backup
• 5+ years of experience in accounting
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Ability to “own” projects from start to finish and work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Communicate clearly and concisely through email, phone, and in-person
• Strong working knowledge Excel (proficient in VLookups, formulas, Pivot Tables, and manipulating data)
• Self-starter with solid problem-solving and time management skills
• Strong professionalism
• Capable of working in a team environment, highly collaborative group
